----PLEASE NOTE---- As of July 20th, 2017 we have come to the difficult decision to temporarily discontinue our School Tour program. We are taking a year off to reflect and re-examine our program. It is with great regret that the logistics to these tours are not working.
As a farm family we truly feel that agriculture education for the children is very important. They need to know where their food comes from. Canadian farmers grow safe quality food to nourish and energize Canadians so we may be productive and creative citizens.
We will reassess and it is in our heart to continue with our program once revamped. Please be understanding. Ernie and Sharon
Educational & Memorable
School tours at Apple Land Station are always an exciting experience for students. Our tours are 90 minutes long and are available in the morning rain or shine. Every tour includes: a lesson in apple-picking, a train ride through the orchard, the opportunity for each child to pick apples to bring homer and a visit to the animal barn and the ever popular Sand Mountain, Farm Hoppers and more.
The tour gives children a glimpse of farm life, it helps students to understand concepts such as pollination, and the cycle of growth, from buds to fruit. Children are also able to see the animals firsthand--the source of many of the foods that they see in the grocery store!
Tour Times : MORNINGS - 9:30am-11:00am / 10am-11:30am Cost $7.00 per person, Children & Adults Class minimum 25, maximum 60 children. Maximum tour number is 75 people. Bus drivers are free.

" I have taken my school children on field trip here for last ten years and always in either Sept or Oct. Great place for children and families. The Apple land family does awesome job in teaching children about apples and also respecting bees, pollen and trees. They teach children how to pick apples without damaging the branch. During apple picking season they bring animals to the barn so little city slickers can see chickens, ducks, pigs sheep, goats etc. There is pumpkin patch and great sand dune area to play for children. The little Shop is awesome best pie baked daily, the apple cider is really good..... Great family who owns it. "
