About Us
Apple Land is our first generation family farm; our first crop was harvested in 1986 and sold from a picnic table. Since then, we have enjoyed providing our community with high quality, fresh produce and an opportunity to create family memories. Ernie can be found engineering the train, teaching the school children on tours, selling Christmas trees or working in the orchard; from blossom to bin he cares for the crop. Sharon and Lindsay juggle managing the store and bakery, you can usually find them making and baking pies and cakes. Dan and Jim work on weekends, managing our packaging facility for retail and wholesale. Ryan jumps in during harvest when he comes home from Ottawa. Tina and Vanessa lend a helping hand during harvest season, too, the store or bakery is where you can usually find them. Sometimes, if you look carefully, you can also see our grandchildren, Ashley, Shaylin and Cameron, training in the store, helping on the packaging line or just riding the train with Grandpa. Don’t forget our doggies, Zak, Dora and Buster Brown, they are usually chasing the train. This is our family, and we would like to meet yours!
